As a Procurement Specialist, your role involves sourcing suppliers and nurturing long-lasting relationships with both new and existing suppliers. You will be responsible for implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company and obtaining quotes from various suppliers. Your negotiation skills will be crucial as you negotiate price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Collaborating with legal counsel is a key part of your role to ensure that all contracts related to product procurement encompass all negotiation details. Key Responsibilities: - Source suppliers and maintain relationships with them - Implement inventory optimization strategies - Obtain quotes from different suppliers - Negotiate price, quantity, and delivery schedules - Collaborate with legal counsel for contract details - Assess quotes and compile cost breakdowns - Generate quote comparisons and contribute to supplier selection - Provide solutions to enhance company spending and outsourcing Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management - Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software In this role, you will have the opportunity to work full-time in a permanent position, with potential for career growth.
