Sourcing Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Proficiency in SAP / OSCAR and good computer skills with expertise in Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.
• Ability to quickly adapt to GE Vernova system tools for Sourcing and Procurement activities.
• Understanding procurement procedure and adhere to GEV Sourcing policies.
• Focus on day to day Indirect Purchases.
• Strong negotiation skill and timely closure of purchase of Indirect material & Services
• Maintain strong relationship with Supplier and Stakeholders
• Knowledge and able to draft supplier contract and review SOW.

• Manufacturing Industry/Construction Projects knowledge will added advantage.

Work profile :

• Review BR/PR in Purchase requisition tool for supporting document

- Commercial validation

- Approval process

- Contract validity

- Cost break-ups etc.

• PR to PO execution and follow-up for PO approval
• Support for timely delivery of goods and services
• Cost management Negotiate prices and implementation of cost saving strategies.
• Supplier Management new supplier identification, carry-out due diligence and supplier documents verification & onboarding process.

Supplier record updates.

• Follow for EHS approval of Supplier with third party tool (ComplyWorks)
• Contract Management – drafting new contracts, contract renewal and maintaining records
• Reporting & Analysis of KPIs
• Support for supplier invoices issues with coordination with end users.
• Educating users with Indirect Sourcing policies and procedures
