Role Overview: - Develop procurement strategies to optimize cost, cash, quality, and service - Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts - Drive added value through strategic sourcing, engineering value, innovation, and risk management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and cost savings Key Responsibilities: - Build, reinforce, and distribute sourcing strategies for internal key functions - Lead contract negotiations and complete cost analyses - Drive savings initiatives while maintaining quality standards - Proactively manage supplier relationships - Act as a strategic business partner and enabler - Maintain strong intimacy with other group stakeholders - Monitor and report on KPIs within scope - Stay informed about industry best practices and trends - Analyze market trends to make insightful buying decisions - Seek continuous procurement process improvements - Ensure compliance with laws and regulations - Provide support and mentorship to junior procurement teams Qualifications Required: - Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement processes - Strong negotiation and contract management skills - Ability to drive cost savings and maintain quality standards - Knowledge of supply chain management - Familiarity with market trends and industry best practices - Understanding of procurement policies and compliance processes - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Additional Details: The company emphasizes the importance of developing and maintaining effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
