Sourcing Analyst

The Senior Buyer-Ariba Sourcing position, based in Eaton's Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) in Pune, involves collaborating with Global Commodity Managers to provide Strategic Sourcing Support. This includes managing RFX processes, e-auctions, bid analysis, supplier interactions, negotiation pack creation, and data maintenance. The primary responsibility is to assist commodity managers in achieving category strategy and cost reduction objectives. Additionally, the role entails serving as an Ariba consultant for Global CMs, training suppliers and buyers on e-auction tools, and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Leading and executing complex sourcing projects within the relevant business area. - Implementing category strategies for spend categories, overseeing the strategic sourcing project portfolio. - Managing RFI/RFQ processes, analyzing responses, preparing Sourcing Work Books, and recommending sourcing solutions. - Conducting competitive bid events, evaluating bids, and presenting findings to stakeholders. - Evaluating supplier bids, making award recommendations, and communicating with stakeholders. - Identifying suitable suppliers based on business requirements and market analysis. - Providing user training on SCM tools, negotiation with suppliers, and report generation and analysis. - Acting as a focal point for e-sourcing/Ariba-related issues, tool deployment, and driving process improvements. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for project implementation and supporting pilot initiatives. Qualifications: - Masters/Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution. - 5-7 years of experience with Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience with a Master's degree in Strategic Sourcing. Skills: - Proficiency in e-sourcing tools, especially Ariba platform, and Contract Management. - Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written. - Understanding of Supply Chain Sourcing processes. - Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP/Oracle and certification in supply management is preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office suite, Power BI, and experience in driving Category Strategy projects. - Interpersonal skills to work in a global environment, effective communication, and ability to work autonomously. - Attention to detail, high learning agility, and a sense of accountability.,
