Role Overview

Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

Architect scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare solutions.
Lead integration efforts involving
MIG connectors, EMR systems, and interoperability standards
.
Ensure compliance with
CDS regulations and healthcare boundaries
.
Design and implement
AWS cloud-native architectures
using Secrets Manager, containerization, and secure frameworks.
Collaborate with frontend teams (Material UI) and backend developers for seamless delivery.
Define and enforce
authentication frameworks and access control models
.
Optimize systems with
asynchronous data aggregation, caching, and performance strategies
.
Drive Agile execution with
Rally or similar project management tools
.
Provide leadership in
mono-repo development environments and CI/CD pipelines
.
Communicate architectural decisions effectively across technical and business teams.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience as a
Solution Architect
in healthcare or regulated domains.
Prior involvement in
NHS or neighbourhood working initiatives
.
Strong understanding of
FHIR R4 UK, SNOMED CT, and interoperability frameworks
.
Hands-on experience with
MIG connectors, EMR integration
, and healthcare data flows.
Proven expertise in
AWS architecture, security models, and cloud-native design
.
Solid knowledge of
authentication frameworks, access control, and regulatory compliance
.
Familiarity with
Agile tools (Rally)
and modern delivery practices.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
