Solution Architect

Solutions Architect responsibilities for Accounting and FP&A software domain to design scalable, secure, and efficient systems to support financial planning, reporting, compliance, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

E2E Solution Design

Review current system architecture

Design end-to-end accounting and FP&A solutions (data flows, integrations, user access, compliance logic).

Select appropriate technology stacks, frameworks, and integration patterns.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work with the business, tech team, and Finance experts to define solution scope.

Present solution architectures to non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Leadership

Guide engineering teams during implementation

Ensure adherence to architecture standards and best practices

Integration Management

Design and oversee integration with ERPs, CRMs, data warehouses, and other financial tools

Ensure compatibility with reporting tools and FP&A platforms

Security & Compliance

Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GAAP)

Implement audit trails and access control measures

Performance & Scalability

Architect for scalability to support growth in data and users

Optimize system performance for real-time financial planning and reporting

Innovation & Strategy

Evaluate new tools (e.g., AI in forecasting, RPA in reconciliations)

Contribute to product roadmap with scalable and modular architecture proposals

Review current accounting architecture in monolithic application and optimize for migration into the micro services architecture for seamless user experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• 5+ years' of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
