Solidworks Designer

Job description:

We are looking for a SolidWorks Designer to create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components and assemblies. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SolidWorks, basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and BOM
• Modify existing designs based on production or client feedback
• Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams
• Ensure designs comply with company standards and manufacturing feasibility
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control
• Support prototype development and trial runs
• Assist in design improvements and cost optimization

Education Qualification

• ITI (Mechanical / Fitter / Draftsman / Tool & Die)

OR

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing)
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, sheet metal, etc.)
• Understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
• Knowledge of materials and fasteners
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design (Freshers with good SolidWorks knowledge can apply)

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in sheet metal / plastic / tooling design
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Exposure to manufacturing or industrial products

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
