Job Title: VMC Operator (5 Years Experience) Location: Rabale, Navi Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented VMC Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) , ensuring high-quality production according to engineering specifications and strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor VMC machines using Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or Mitsubishi controls. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to determine machining requirements. Prepare and load raw materials, tools, and fixtures, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining operations. Perform program editing, tool offset adjustments, and fine-tuning for precision and efficiency. Conduct first-piece inspections and validate production runs to maintain accuracy and consistency. Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.). Maintain daily logs, production records, and tool usage reports accurately. Ensure the machine’s cleanliness, lubrication, and preventive maintenance are performed regularly. Work collaboratively with the production and quality assurance teams to meet production targets and deadlines. Adhere to safety protocols and company quality standards at all times. Qualifications & Experience ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production, or Tool & Die Making. Minimum 5 years of experience as a VMC Operator in a precision machining or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CNC programming (G & M codes) and tool path optimization. Strong knowledge of tool selection, offsets, and cutting parameter settings . Ability to operate and maintain multiple VMC machines independently. Excellent understanding of geometric tolerances and quality control techniques . Strong problem-solving, time management, and teamwork skills. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator & Programmer to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming within a precision manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components with close tolerances. This role requires a deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, and quality standards, ensuring each part meets exact specifications. Key Responsibilities Set Up & Operation: Prepare and operate CNC turning machines to perform precision machining operations such as drilling, milling, grinding, and turning. Programming: Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain) based on engineering drawings and process requirements. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements and tool paths. Material Preparation: Load and align raw materials and workpieces using appropriate fixtures, chucks, or jigs. Trial Runs & Adjustments: Conduct test runs to verify machining accuracy, adjusting offsets and parameters as needed to achieve desired output. Tool Management: Select, set up, and maintain cutting tools and fixtures for optimal machining efficiency. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve cycle times, tooling life, and machining accuracy. Quality Assurance: Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) and ensure adherence to specifications. Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness and functionality of all CNC equipment. Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and inspection reports as per quality standards. Qualifications Required: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and programming in a precision manufacturing setup. Diploma or ITI in Machinist, Tool & Die Making, or Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G & M codes) and control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain. Strong ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications. Skilled in precision measuring and inspection tools. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong commitment to quality, productivity, and safety standards. Preferred: Experience in multi-axis machining and advanced tooling systems. Familiarity with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 5S practices. Experience in team coordination or mentoring junior operators.
