Role Overview

Solar Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the solar plant, ensuring optimal performance.
Monitor plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring tools; identify and address generation losses.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on inverters, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
Perform routine inspections and cleaning of solar modules.
Troubleshoot and resolve system faults, alarms, and performance issues.
Maintain detailed logs, reports, and checklists for all site activities.
Prepare daily and monthly generation reports; document and report equipment failures.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory requirements.
Supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance or project activities.
Coordinate with the remote monitoring team and provide timely updates on site status.
