Job Description

Software Tester (Manual / Automation)

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, user stories, and technical documents to create test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Redmine.
Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes.
Write and execute automated test scripts (for candidates with automation experience).
Ensure applications meet quality standards and client requirements.
Document test results and prepare detailed reports.

Requirements

Qualification:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (BCA, MCA, B.Tech, etc.).
Experience:
Freshers with knowledge of testing concepts can apply.
Experienced candidates (1–5 years) should have hands-on testing expertise.
Technical Skills:
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case design.
Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG (for experienced candidates).
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Awareness of Agile methodologies is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
