We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in Manual Testing, Database Testing and API Testing. Exposure to Automation Testing or completion of a relevant Automation course/certification will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, prepare, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts in alignment with project requirements.

Perform manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop applications to ensure quality and functionality.

Conduct API testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).

Perform the Database Testing in SQL DB

Accurately identify, log, and track defects using established defect management systems.

Familiarisation of tools like Jira, One Note, Confluence is added advantage

Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and test planning sessions to ensure appropriate test coverage.

Perform regression, integration, and system testing to validate functionality and stability.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and business analysts.

Support ongoing initiatives to adopt and enhance automation testing practices within the QA team.

Required Skills and Competencies:

1–3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.

Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Hands-on experience in Manual Testing, API Testing and Database Testing

Proficiency with test case design, execution, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred/Good to Have:

Exposure to Automation Testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

Completed Automation Testing course or certification.

Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
