Software Test Engineer

Ionob Innovations LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester to join our team in Kozhikode. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the overall quality of our ERP software systems and web applications. Female candidates are required to have a minimum of one year of experience in software testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across web and ERP platforms.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or similar.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and performance testing.
• Work closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to resolve issues.
• Contribute to the enhancement of test automation frameworks (if applicable).
• Prepare quality reports and provide regular feedback on product quality.
• Participate in sprint planning and ensure QA processes are followed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in software/QA testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
• Experience in working with ERP or enterprise-level applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Good understanding of databases, basic SQL queries, and web technologies.
• Experience in automation testing (preferably with Selenium or similar tools) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
