Software Test Engineer

Ionob Innovations LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester to join the team in Kozhikode. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our ERP software systems and web applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and contributing to the overall quality assurance process. Female candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience in software testing. Key Responsibilities - Design, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases. - Conduct manual and automated testing on web and ERP platforms. - Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA. - Perform various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and performance testing. - Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to address issues. - Assist in the improvement of test automation frameworks where applicable. - Generate quality reports and offer regular feedback on product quality. - Engage in sprint planning and ensure adherence to QA processes. Required Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software/QA testing. - Proficiency in software testing life cycle (STLC) and software development life cycle (SDLC). - Experience with ERP or enterprise-level applications is advantageous. - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools. - Good knowledge of databases, basic SQL queries, and web technologies. - Prior experience in automation testing, preferably using Selenium or similar tools, is a plus. - Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities. - Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
