Your Mission We are looking for a Software Team Leader who is able to recruit and coordinate a SW development team and make it productive, understands technical requirements and software architecture and acts as a bridge to the development team. Your tasks: Recruit and establish a successful team of up to 20 Software Developers, all based in/near Hyderabad Coordinate the work and take full responsibility for the software developed by the team Take care of onboarding and training of new team members Oversee and manage the complete life cycle of the product Work closely with management and software architects in Europe (Austria) to define work packages for the team Ensure that product supports company’s overall strategy and goals Ensure customer satisfaction to drive further sales Manage software development tools and build environment engineering (build server) Guide and manage software testing and verification engineers Local IT server management Software processes and quality standard need to be compliant to the Schiebel Group’s overall software development processes What You Bring Experience in developing GUI SW for the aviation domain or in a related field Proven experience as a team leader (min 3 years) Experience as a software architect (min 5 years) Knowledge of databases including interfaces to external databases Conversant with map formats, coordinate systems, terrain data management and related functions like map import, conversions etc. Knowledge about graphical user interface in order to understand customer requirement for implementation Should have a good understanding of network, communication, info security and encryption Experience in C++, GUI frameworks, video encoding, map visualization / GIS Capability to handle video codec engineers in the requirement to configure and use video libraries Post graduate in computer / electronics related field Experience in working with development teams in Europe would be a bonus Excellent English skills and very good communication skills Ready to work from Hyderabad and undertake regular visits to Vienna for product development and synchronization with avionics team What We Offer An exciting work environment with unmanned helicopters A dynamic team with strong cohesion The opportunity to help build a new organization from the ground up and become part of an exciting new team Diversity counts with us We promote a non-discriminatory workplace and welcome applications from people of diverse backgrounds, genders, age groups, abilities, and religions.
