Software Team Manager

As a Software Team Leader at our globally operating high-tech company and market leader in unmanned helicopters and mine detection systems, your mission will involve recruiting and coordinating a team of up to 20 Software Developers in/near Hyderabad. You will be responsible for overseeing the team's work, onboarding and training new members, managing the product life cycle, and collaborating with management and software architects in Europe to define work packages. Ensuring that the product aligns with the company's strategy and goals, driving customer satisfaction, managing software development tools, and guiding software testing and verification engineers will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for local IT server management, ensuring software processes adhere to quality standards, and maintaining compliance with the company's overall software development processes. To excel in this role, you should have experience in developing GUI software for the aviation domain or related fields, a proven track record as a team leader and software architect, knowledge of databases and map formats, proficiency in GUI frameworks, video encoding, and map visualization, as well as familiarity with network, communication, information security, and encryption. A postgraduate degree in a computer/electronics-related field, experience working with European development teams, excellent English and communication skills, and readiness to work from Hyderabad with occasional visits to Vienna for product development are also required.
