Software Reliability Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain next-generation Post Trade systems.
• Collaborate with trade support and developers across multiple regions to resolve production issues.
• Lead and contribute to migration projects and automation of support activities.
• Diagnose and fix bugs on existing production platforms.
• Document production issues and interventions for knowledge-sharing.
• Support integration of new execution venues, trading products, and data vendors.
• Define certification criteria for system enhancements and ensure smooth testing/deployment.
• Partner with end users to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.
• Enhance system reliability by contributing to the design of self-healing support systems.
• Monitor and report system health, ensuring high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years

  experience in a fast-paced global environment, with hands-on expertise in diagnosing and resolving production issues.
• Minimum

  2 years’ experience

  with enterprise applications using

  Java, Python, Linux shell scripting, and job schedulers

  (Java/Python expertise required).
• Strong experience with

  SQL

  (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and

  NoSQL

  (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) databases.
• Prior exposure to

  electronic trading systems

  and knowledge of financial instruments (equities, commodities, FX, crypto, futures, forwards, options, interest rates, credit) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
