Job Description

As a QA Lead at Traya, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our consumer-facing mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining and implementing the overall QA strategy, test plans, and test cases for our iOS and Android mobile applications. - Building, leading, and mentoring a team of QA engineers to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. - Overseeing various testing types such as functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, and accessibility testing. - Establishing and maintaining QA metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress and communicate quality status to stakeholders. - Collaborating closely with product managers and designers to provide early QA feedback on design and user stories. - Driving the adoption of test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and test coverage. - Participating in release planning and ensuring that quality standards are met before each release. - Championing quality throughout the software development lifecycle and advocating for best practices and preventative quality measures. - Staying updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices in mobile app testing. - Leading continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) in software quality assurance, with a focus on mobile application testing. - Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in a QA leadership role, managing and mentoring QA teams. - Strong understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and designing comprehensive test plans for mobile applications. - Hands-on experience with mobile testing tools and frameworks like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, TestNG, and JUnit. - Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to lead, motivate a team, and drive process improvements. Bonus points for candidates with experience in cloud-based mobile testing platforms, accessibility testing standards, security testing, CI/CD pipelines, and data-driven testing for mobile apps.,
