The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, scripting, and executing software test automation for a variety of customer-facing mobile apps and other key projects. You must be self-motivated, creative, and proactive to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple platforms, diverse technologies, and lab setups. Collaboration with developers, test engineers, project managers, Testing Head, clients, and stakeholders throughout the software development life cycle is essential. This role involves executing automated test iterations, tracking and reporting test results, troubleshooting, and coordinating bug fixes. A strong understanding of agile processes, QA lifecycle, and automation methodology is required. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the product design team to define product testing parameters. - Develop test plans, create test cases, and test scenarios for the product. - Conduct quality assurance and design performance tests using new testing procedures. - Troubleshoot errors and streamline testing procedures. - Draft final QA and test procedures for quality technicians. - Ensure all tests and procedures align with company and industry standards. - Demonstrate problem-solving skills, technical writing proficiency, excellent communication, and effective teamwork. - Maintain a keen eye for detail and possess strong organizational skills. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. - Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer. Required Skills: - Ability to create and execute test cases using Element Locators and Selenium WebDriver API Commands. - Proficiency in Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver, and Selenium Grid). - Knowledge of Java Programming, including various concepts such as data types, variables, operators, flow control statements, methods, exception handling, file handling, Excel file operations, database operations, and OOPS concepts. - Understanding of element locators, inspecting elements, and Selenium WebDriver API Commands or Methods. - Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, TestStand, and LabVIEW. - Ability to analyze the Application Under Test in terms of object identification. - Experience in creating test scenarios, collecting test data, identifying end-to-end scenarios, and ensuring code modularity. - Proficiency in implementing JUnit or TestNG Test Automation framework, developing automation infrastructure, creating and enhancing test cases (test scripts), and running data-driven tests through the framework. - Expertise in cross-browser testing, defining and exporting test results, parallel test execution, analyzing test results, reporting defects, tracking defects, selecting test cases for regression testing, and modifying test automation resources.
