Software Quality Analyst I

Location-Hybrid, Pune, India

• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and specifications
• Develop comprehensive test plans and testing strategies for web applications.
• Should have must have knowledge on Automation and Manual Testing.
• Utilize Selenium and C# to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Execute automated tests to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of the applications.

• Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, providing detailed information for developers to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Verify the functionality and user experience of web applications developed using .NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility.
• Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency in the backend databases (SQL/Oracle).
• Ensure accurate data retrieval and manipulation within the web application.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate testing progress and results.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum activities. Good to have
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Identify opportunities for test automation to increase efficiency.

• 
  

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in software testing.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Analyst with expertise in Selenium, C#, and manual testing.
  • Strong understanding of web application testing and the .NET development stack.
  • Preferably knowledge in SQL for database testing (SQL/Oracle).
  • Experience with test management tools and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Knowledge in Building Automation suite using C# and Visual studios.
