Software Product Manager

As a Software Product Manager at Zeno, your role will involve leading the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with Zeno's overall energy and mobility offerings. Zeno is dedicated to accelerating the energy transition and democratizing the benefits across Africa, India, and Latin America, starting with a focus on East Africa. The company aims to build a new energy ecosystem by developing a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated battery swap network to enhance customer experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Zeno software. - Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and enhancements. - Translate customer needs, Zeno business objectives, and technical constraints into clear product requirements and user stories. - Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to guide product decisions. - Monitor and ensure the success of released software products by meeting customer and organizational needs. - Define success metrics and track product performance against KPIs. - Track quality metrics and utilize data-driven insights to enhance product reliability. - Coordinate product launches in collaboration with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery and adoption. - Act as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-7 years of experience in product management, program management, or a related role. - 4+ years of experience testing cloud backend and/or mobile applications. - Strong understanding of software and hardware development lifecycles. - Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and vice versa. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proven ability to gather and synthesize feedback from customers and internal teams. - Data-driven mindset with experience defining metrics and using analytics for decision-making. - Experience in bringing a product from concept to launch and iterating based on customer feedback. **Good to Have:** - Prior experience in the energy or transportation industry. - Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar product/project management systems.
