Software Product Manager

As a Software Product Manager at Axiom Consulting, you will be responsible for: - Product Development from inception to taking it to market problem understanding - Participate in solution strategy development and architecting - Driving meaningful outcomes - Testing for compliance and deploying solutions - The ability to work with a cross-functional development team in an agile environment to drive taking solutions, software, or services to market We are looking for T-shaped individuals who balance their deep understanding of their chosen domain with broad interests and abilities that go beyond their core competencies. In addition to being great at what you do, you need to have a bit of a Jack (or Jane) of all trades attitude to enjoy working with Axiom. Passion, self-drive, and the ability to take ownership of your work are essential qualities we seek. You should also possess a certain social cowboy (or cowgirl) attitude, being able to feed off team energy while also being capable of riding solo when needed. We expect you to thrive when thrown into the deep end of the pool and rely on your ability to learn and grow by asking the right questions. Skills required: - Track record of taking software product or solutions to market - Hands-on understanding of managing product programs across various platforms - Product management from incubation stage to taking the product to market with a demonstrated decision-making ability in tough situations - Dynamic product roadmap management throughout the product program - Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, admin teams for maximum results - Drive Products culture - High level of employee engagement to bring to focus the company strategy and product vision at all times Tools expertise needed: - Management of product programs with sound software engineering principles like waterfall and agile - Expert level knowledge of managing software solutions using .NET, Java, Android, IOS is a must - Clear ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams without formal authority A formal education in engineering along with an MBA is desirable, but proven experience and expertise are what we value most. The ideal candidate would have 8-12 years of experience.
