Sourcing Manager - Plastics, Paint & Graphics

As a Sourcing Manager Plastics, Paint & Graphics at Zeno, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers for plastic components, painted surfaces, decals, and aesthetic branding elements utilized in Zeno's electric motorcycles. Your responsibilities will include identifying and managing relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers specializing in injection molding, thermoforming, compression molding, painting, paint development, hydrographic, and decals. Collaborating with design and engineering teams is essential to ensure that supplier capabilities align with technical, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements. Developing and executing sourcing strategies for plastics, painted components, and branding graphics will be key aspects of your role. You will work towards ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely supply. Negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to optimize cost, lead times, and supply reliability will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, monitoring supplier performance, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and driving cost-down strategies without compromising quality are crucial tasks that you will undertake. Your background should ideally encompass 5-6 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within the automotive, plastics, coatings, or consumer electronics industry. A deep understanding of plastic molding, painting, paint development processes, and other related skills will be beneficial for this role. Proficiency in cost estimation, supplier development, and commercial negotiations is expected. You should also possess strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills to excel in this position. Moreover, having experience working for a Tier 1 supplier or OEM in sourcing, procurement, or supplier quality functions would be advantageous. Familiarity with plastics and coatings quality standards, along with an understanding of electric vehicle design challenges related to plastic parts, branding durability, and environmental resistance, are considered great assets.
