Software Implementation Engineer

As an Implementation Engineer at our company, you will be an integral part of our team, focusing on the deployment, customization, and support of our ERP software specifically tailored for educational institutions such as schools, colleges, and universities. Your extensive experience in implementing ERP systems and in-depth understanding of the unique requirements of educational organizations will be key to your success in this role. Your responsibilities will include leading the end-to-end implementation of the ERP software, collaborating closely with educational administrators, IT personnel, and end-users to ensure successful system adoption, customizing and integrating ERP modules to meet institutional needs, providing training sessions for users, and offering ongoing technical support to ensure smooth system operation. Additionally, you will oversee data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP platform, analyze institutional processes for optimization, and promptly troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues to minimize downtime. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with experience in the educational domain. Your technical skills should include proficiency in ERP platforms, a strong knowledge of database management (including SQL, MongoDB, and postgreSQL), and familiarity with system integration methods such as APIs and web services. Moreover, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines are crucial soft skills required for this position. Preferred skills for this role include familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions and knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements in the education sector.
