Description & Requirements

Infor Design is looking for an experienced Sr. JavaScript and TypeScript Developer, passionate about creating complex front-end solutions, using the latest technologies, and best practices. The candidate will be working on several projects, including improving, and supporting the Infor Design System, a complex, large scale, enterprise grade front-end component library used across Infor.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Work on tasks assigned
Review Pull Requests
Attending Agile ceremonies
Attending team meetings and 101s
Conduct Code Pairing sessions
Review architectural changes
Perform research on new technologies

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
At least 4 years of engineering experience, a large portion of which in a team environment
Extensive experience working with JS frameworks Angular
Extensive experience working with TypeScript & JavaScript
Experience creating frontend solution from scratch, and/or knowing the behind the scenes of modern frontend frameworks parts (Routing, Binding, Virtual Dom, Async Rendering)
Experience with the latest CSS technologies (SASS, LESS), and building responsive HTML layouts
Experience architecting highly performant complex application from the ground up
Experience mentoring and be mentored by other engineers
Basic knowledge of the Web Components technology
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and programming languages
Experience working closely with product teams, designers, and other developers to create a truly delightful experience
A disciplined approach to development, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment
Experience with Git workflows, Code Reviews, and CI/CD
A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things higher
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy

Experience with the Web Components technology
Familiarity with Backend technologies, and programming languages (Python or similar)
Experience working with Design Systems
Experience building a front-end framework from scratch
Backend/DevOps/AWS programming experience
Experience working in the Enterprise sector
