Software Engineer - React Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled React Developer with strong expertise in modern front-end technologies and proven experience in migrating legacy UI applications to React. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing user interfaces while modernizing existing systems. This role requires deep knowledge of React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end architecture, along with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities . Lead migration of legacy UI applications to React, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. . Design and develop reusable components, hooks, and state management solutions (Redux/Context API). . Utilise AI code accelerators for faster migration. . Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. . Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services. . Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers. . Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI/UX issues during migration and post-deployment. . Document technical designs, migration strategies, and provide training/support to stakeholders. Key Requirements . 4 to 6 years of front-end development experience, with at least 4+ years in React.js. . Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SAAS, and modern front-end frameworks. . Proven experience in migrating legacy UI frameworks (Silverlight, AngularJS, jQuery, JSP, etc.) to React. . Hands-on experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Context API). . Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Babel, Vite). . Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards. . Should have sound understanding of SEO concepts. . Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and microservices. . Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. . Basic understanding of backend tech (Node.js, Express). Preferred Skills . Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). . Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering (SSR), and static site generation (SSG). . Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. . Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for front-end deployments. . Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, New Relic). . Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in agile environments.
