Software Engineer â Generative AI Location: Bengaluru Experience: 1-3 Years About Pocket FM: At Pocket FM , weâre reimagining storytelling through the power of audio. As we scale, Generative AI is playing a central role in how we create, personalize, and distribute content at scale. What Youâll Do: Build production-grade systems that integrate LLMs and multimodal GenAI models into Pocket FMâs content workflows. Collaborate with Product, Data, and ML teams to design systems for AI-powered storytelling, character generation, voice synthesis, and more. Optimize performance and inference of large-scale GenAI models across cloud and on-device environments. Build and expose GenAI capabilities as reusable services and APIs for other product teams to consume. Continuously explore new models and frameworks (like GPT, TTS models, Whisper, Stable Diffusion, etc.) to keep Pocket FM ahead in the GenAI game. Contribute to the experimentation stack for prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning , and evaluation. What Weâre Looking For: 1â3 years of experience in backend/software development (Python, Go, or similar). Hands-on experience working with LLMs or GenAI frameworks like OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, or LlamaIndex. Solid understanding of cloud infra (AWS/GCP), containerization (Docker/K8s), and scalable service design. Experience working with ML engineers or deploying ML models into production. Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and retrieval pipelines. Passion for building tools that push the boundaries of creative expression. Nice to Have: Exposure to text-to-speech , voice cloning , or audio generation models. Contributions to open-source GenAI or ML ops tools. Prior experience in media, entertainment, or content-tech companies. Enthusiastic about storytelling, audio platforms, and immersive content experiences. Show more Show less
