Job Summary:

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks primarily using

  Selenium

  for web automation.
• Create and execute automated tests for REST APIs using

  REST Assured

  .
• Develop and enhance mobile automation scripts using

  Appium

  .
• Integrate and manage automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Conduct rigorous cross-platform testing leveraging cloud-based platforms, particularly

  BrowserStack

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement effective testing strategies and methodologies.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects, ensuring accurate and efficient issue resolution.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scenarios, and automated scripts.
• Mentor team members in automation best practices, code quality standards, and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Education

  : BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience

  : 4–6 years of proven hands-on experience in test automation and software quality assurance.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in

  Java

  and solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Mandatory experience in automation testing frameworks Selenium and Rest assured
• Good to have experience with

  Appium

  for mobile automation testing.
• Demonstrated experience in performing cross-platform testing, especially utilising cloud-based testing environments like

  BrowserStack

  .
• Solid understanding of test automation best practices, frameworks, and tools.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work effectively within collaborative team environments.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and mentorship skills, with the ability to support team growth.
