Software Engineer I

As an Angular Software Engineer II, you are responsible for developing clean, scalable, and testable solutions in our Typescript + React codebase. You must demonstrate proficiency in code quality, delivery, documentation, and software development best practices. Your role involves designing and developing scalable, high-performance software solutions in TypeScript within React or Angular projects. Working on various product areas under the guidance of architects and lead engineers is crucial to ensure cohesive solutions. You will independently define, design, and communicate most work within the team, articulating technical solutions effectively. Additionally, participation in code and design reviews, process improvement initiatives, and staying updated with industry trends and technologies is expected. Writing and maintaining technical documentation, as well as active participation in Agile/Scrum teams for effective project execution, are key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code in TypeScript within React or Angular projects - Work on various product areas under the guidance of architects and lead engineers - Define, design, and communicate most work within the team independently - Participate in code and design reviews, process improvement initiatives, and stay updated with industry trends and technologies - Write and maintain technical documentation - Actively participate in Agile/Scrum teams for effective project execution Qualifications Required: - At least 2 years of experience in software engineering with expertise in TypeScript, React/Angular, CSS, and other relevant technologies - Excellent communication skills for collaborative work with other departments and stakeholders - Experience and passion for test-driven development approaches - Self-starting attitude towards technology and innovation - General awareness of modern process best practices (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.) - Openness to pragmatic approaches for challenging conventional best practices Desired Skills: - Willingness to help backfill unit tests around legacy codebases as needed.,
