Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer


Key Responsibilities

1. Development & Scripting

  • Design, develop, and maintain

    NICE CXone scripts

    and workflows.
  • Build and optimize

    IVR call flows

    , routing logic, and customer interaction flows.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in

    C#, Java, or C++

    for integration and automation tasks.

2. Integration Engineering

  • Implement and maintain

    REST/SOAP API integrations

    with internal and external systems.
  • Support data exchange, event handling, and backend workflows required for CX and contact center applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.

3. Problem Solving & Analysis

  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical designs.
  • Investigate and debug issues across scripts, workflows, APIs, and backend logic.
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of call flows and integrations.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, product, operations, and customer experience teams.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for enhancements and new feature implementations.


Required Skills

  • Strong coding experience

    in one or more:
  • .NET (C#)

  • Java

  • C++

  • Solid understanding of

    REST/SOAP APIs

    , web services, and integration patterns.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 4+ years

    of professional software development experience.
  • Ability and willingness to

    quickly learn NICE CXone scripting

    , IVR call flow design, and contact center ecosystem tools.


Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience with

    NICE CXone

    , IVR design, contact center platforms, or telephony systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
