Software Engineer 1

As a Software Engineer I at LexisNexis Legal & Professional, you will be responsible for performing moderate research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. **Key Responsibilities:** - Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. - Complete simple bug fixes. - Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs. - Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. - Resolve technical issues as necessary. - Keep abreast of new technological developments. **Qualifications Required:** - 1 to 3 years of experience in software development. - Experience working in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring-boot, and Microservices. - Experience working with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax. - Experience working with any database (MS SQL, Oracle, MYSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB). - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration. - Good to have experience in Angular JS, React, or Vue.JS. - Must have implemented projects on AWS Cloud. - Good to have DevOps Knowledge in CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes. - Experience working in Source Code Management GIT. - Experience of developing software within the Scrum framework.
