Software Engineer 1

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work as part of a team to design, implement and execute both manual and automated product security tests.
• Research and develop custom product security test tools.
• Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and test implementations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
• Provide technical support for test stations and tooling.
• Research and investigate potential vulnerabilities
• Support product security activities for local embedded device teams

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 2-3 years of applicable experience in cybersecurity and software testing
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to be creative to think “outside the box”.
• Knowledge of fundamental product security concepts (e.g., CIA triad, secure development, etc.)
• Interest and experience performing product security testing (e.g., security requirement testing, pen testing, fuzz testing, bug bounty, etc.)
• Interest and experience working with windows and web applications including knowledge of .NET, JavaScript and other windows and web application technologies
• Interest and experience working with a variety of tools used for security testing (e.g., Burp, decompilers, etc.)
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as IEC 62443 and EU CRA
