Exploring the role

Software Development Engineer II (Backend)

.NET Core, AWS, microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing

How your day will look like/Job responsibility

Backend development experience in .NET Core / C# – develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Hands-on expertise with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM).
Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis).
Familiarity with async programming, multithreading, and event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, Kafka).
Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS) is a plus.

Education & Work Experience

3–6 years of professional backend development experience, preferably in SaaS / cloud-native / high-scale platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Proven track record of delivering production-grade microservices and APIs in .NET Core / C#.
Experience working in Agile teams with strong collaboration across product, QA, and DevOps.

Knowledge:

Understanding of containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
Exposure to observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, New Relic).
Awareness of AI/ML frameworks and cloud-native patterns.
Familiarity with scalable SaaS platforms and multi-tenant architecture.

Skills:

Strong coding expertise in .NET Core / C#, building RESTful & GraphQL APIs.
Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM).
Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Redis).
Practical experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and event-driven systems (SNS, SQS, Kafka).
Experience in microservices and distributed system design.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
