Search Engine Config Infra (SECI) is the team that owns the systems responsible for configuring the indexing and query behaviors that implement Amazon Search’s product search engine. Our customers are the hundreds of Amazonians who need to easily and confidently change search engine behavior while respecting Amazon Search’s processes and guardrails. As a Software Engineer On This Team You Will Evolve and grow state of the art search configuration infrastructure using cutting-edge frameworks and technologies Support sophisticated configuration requirements for Amazon Search services including navigation, matching and ranking Lead the design, implementation, and operational excellence of critical services for search configuration Maintain a focus on scalability, latency, performance robustness, and cost trade-offs in a containerized cloud-based environment Share knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices. We provide a dynamic entrepreneurial environment, while leveraging the resources of Amazon (AMZN), one of the world's leading Internet companies.
