15 years full time educationSummary: A talented and motivated Requirement Engineer who will work closely with the team responsible for developing the hardware system for aftermarket and original mounted solutions. This role will have the opportunity to support global innovation and product development teams by defining system requirements for tire electronic solutions (sensor, receiver, IoT gateway, automotive ECU) for passenger and commercial applications. The Requirement Engineer will be part of a global technology development team, understanding business requirements and delivering technology that meets performance, cost, and quality standards. Additionally, they will support the development of strategy in global innovation and tire information systems. Key Responsibilities: - Review business needs, system constraints, and define requirements for system, hardware, and software (embedded and cloud) tests of tire electronics and vehicle telematic systems. - Review requirements with ECU team members and counterparts in other departments. - Support product testing to ensure all requirements are testable. - Support firmware team to ensure all requirements can be successfully implemented. - Contribute to the standardization of the development process according to standards like ASPICE. Technical Experience: -. 4+ years of experience in automotive hardware and software engineering. - Proficiency in electronics design testing. - Working experience in requirements management, testing, and validation of automotive qualified electronic products. - Experience in electronic systems design and specification, IoT, and automotive electronics. - FMEA and DFMEA of electronic products. - Proficiency in standard automotive development process, V cycle development, ASPICE. - Proficiency in software programming languages: Python, C/C++. - Proficiency with testing tools of automotive vendors like DSPACE or VECTOR. - Familiarity with BLE, WiFi, and RF communication protocols. - Familiarity with CAN/J1939, OBD-II, and UDS. - Familiarity with machine-to-machine protocols like MQTT and HTTP. - Ability to carry out assignments logically using existing technology and standardized methods. - Basic organization, communication, and experimentation discipline. - Practical understanding of science and technology in the appropriate discipline. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Self-motivated, accepting difficult challenges and thinking outside the box. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders." Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
