Software Architect - JD Edwards

You ll join a dynamic team participating in Volvo Group ITs transformation on a journey towards Industry 4.0. • Lead the JDE architecture across all modules, orchestrations and customisations.


• Ensure solutions meet standards, security and remain maintainable.


• Guide the use of standard JDE tools (Orchestrator, UX One, AIS) vs customisations.


• Shape the JDE roadmap: plan upgrades, assess new tools and functionality.


• Advise on complex changes, performance issues, and major incidents.


• Define technical standards and documentation practices.


• Ensure scalability, efficiency, and alignment with long-term goals.


• Collaborate in agile teams, supporting design and delivery.


• Mentor team members and influence technical direction.

You are a hands-on leader with a strong foundation in enterprise software engineering and deep experience in JD Edwards.

You bring:-

• Solid technical knowledge in

  JD Edwards EnterpriseOne architecture

  , OMW, CNC, development objects, and key table structures.


• Practical experience building and maintaining

  Orchestrations

  , including awareness of its functional and technical limitations and opportunities for improvement.


• Ability to design complex solutions, maintain architectural integrity, and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with developers, consultants, and stakeholders.


• A proactive, collaborative mindset with comfort working in agile and iterative environments.
