Job Summary:

Software Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the overall architecture and design of software systems.
• Make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards, including tools, platforms, and coding practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks based on system needs.
• Guide and mentor development teams on software architecture best practices and design patterns.
• Ensure software systems are scalable, secure, maintainable, and performant.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide technical oversight during the development lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and architectural bottlenecks.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in designing and building complex software systems (monolithic and microservices architectures).
• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, Go).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architecture.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise architecture and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, messaging queues, and database design (SQL and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of security principles and best practices in application design.
• Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
