The

Software Architect

will conceptualize and create product architecture for medical applications within the Computed Tomography business of Simens Healthineers.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Define and drive the architecture of complex software products, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Lead the design and development of applications using
C# .NET
.
Provide technical governance for products, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
Drive test automation strategy across unit, integration and system levels in close coordination with Test architect.
Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed within development teams.
Mentor development teams to implement consistent, high-quality architecture and design.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support Agile/Scrum processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Minimum a
bachelors degree
(B.E) in science or in a technical field such as electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent.
10+ years
of experience in software development, with
at least 3 years
in architectural roles.
Minimum
6 years
of experience in a product development environment with a lead technical role and track record of delivering product/solutions.
Prior experience in the development and delivery of applications for CT/console systems is considered an asset.
Ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
Expertise in
C# .NET
is essential for this role and knowledge of modern full stack development is a plus.
Experience in design and development of applications with
Angular, HTML5 and WPF UI technologies
.
Previous certification in
software architecture (SWA)
or an equivalent qualification is beneficial.
Demonstrated success in packaging applications into
Docker containers
and orchestrating deployments within
Kubernetes
environments.
Strong command of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Prior experience in healthcare domain and imaging background is advantageous for this role.
