Job Description

1. Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Executive who can manage social media, basic website updates, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads, Google & ChatGPT-based research/content, and support with “whatever is needed” to grow the brand online.

This is a do-it-all digital role – from making reels and posts, to fixing website issues, running ads, and analysing what is working vs what is not.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Social Media Management (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

  • Plan and execute monthly content calendar
  • Create and post:
  • Reels
  • Static posts & carousels
  • Stories & highlights
  • Write engaging hooks, captions, hashtags & CTAs
  • Reply to DMs, comments and manage basic community engagement
  • Coordinate for photos/videos when needed

B. Content Creation & AI (ChatGPT, etc.)

  • Use ChatGPT to:
  • Generate content ideas
  • Draft scripts, captions, ad copy, emails
  • Do trend/competitor research
  • Prepare basic documents, checklists, and summaries
  • Design posts on Canva or similar tools
  • Edit short videos using mobile/desktop apps (CapCut / InShot / VN etc.)

C. Website Management & Fixes

  • Make basic website changes/updates such as:
  • Updating banners, images, text, prices, offers
  • Adding/removing sections, FAQs, and basic pages
  • Ensuring links, forms, buttons are working
  • Coordinate with developer (if needed) for bigger technical changes
  • Keep website aligned with ongoing campaigns and social media
  • Ensure basic mobile-friendliness and clean layout

(If your site is on WordPress/Shopify/etc., they should be willing to learn and manage the backend.)

D. Facebook & Instagram Ads (Meta Ads)

  • Set up and manage Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram):
  • Creating campaigns, ad sets and ads
  • Selecting objective (traffic, reach, engagement, conversions, etc.)
  • Choosing audiences, placements, budget, and schedule
  • Monitor ads daily:
  • Pause poor-performing ads
  • Scale or tweak better-performing ones
  • Prepare simple weekly ad performance reports:
  • Spend vs results
  • Best creatives
  • What to continue/stop/try next

E. Google & Digital Research

  • Use Google + YouTube to:
  • Research new ideas, industries, trends
  • Find references, competitors, best practices
  • Learn how to fix small website / ad / technical issues
  • Keep a “What works / What doesn’t” log:
  • Document learnings
  • Suggest what to continue, stop or improve

F. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report:
  • Follower growth
  • Reach, views & engagement
  • Website traffic (if access provided)
  • Ad performance (CPM, CPC, CTR basics)
  • Share weekly and monthly summary:
  • What was done
  • What worked
  • What did not work
  • What’s planned next

G. General Support (“Do Whatever Is Needed” Mindset)

  • Help out with:
  • Basic admin work around marketing
  • Co-ordinating with designers, agencies, printers, influencers, etc.
  • Offline marketing tasks if required (events, shoots, etc.)
  • Be ready to learn, figure things out, and take ownership instead of waiting for step-by-step instructions.

3. Reporting & Structure

  • Reports to: Founder / Marketing Head
  • Reviews:
  • Weekly work review
  • Monthly performance review (based on clear KPIs)

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Output

  • Minimum X reels per week (e.g., 3–5)
  • Minimum X posts per week (e.g., 3–5)
  • Website updated as per campaigns (no outdated banners/offers)

Social Performance

  • Consistent monthly growth in:
  • Reach
  • Engagement
  • Followers (no fake/paid followers)

Ads Performance

  • Ads running without big mistakes (wrong links, wrong creatives, etc.)
  • Basic improvement in:
  • Cost per result
  • Click-through rate (CTR)
  • Overall quality of traffic

Behavioural

  • On-time delivery
  • Clear communication
  • Ability to suggest what is needed vs not needed
  • Ownership and problem-solving attitude

5. Skills & Requirements

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong understanding of Instagram & Facebook
  • Basic experience with Meta Ads Manager (or willingness to learn fast)
  • Social media content writing (English / Hinglish)
  • Canva / basic design skills
  • Basic video editing skills (mobile apps okay)
  • Comfortable using ChatGPT + Google daily

Good-to-Have

  • WordPress / Shopify / website builder experience
  • Google Analytics / Meta Pixel basics
  • Experience in a startup or D2C brand

Education & Experience

  • Any graduate/undergraduate
  • 0–2 years relevant experience (freshers with strong skills/portfolio can apply)

6. Work Style & Culture Fit

7. Compensation & Growth

  • Salary: ₹12,000 per month (fixed)
  • Performance-based incentives / increments possible after review
