Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Social Media Strategist and Operations at Socialhood. The role involves developing and executing social media strategies, optimizing social media content, managing public relations, and ensuring effective communication across all platforms. This role is based in Hyderabad, with some opportunities for working from home.


Qualifications

  • Skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimisation (SMO)
  • Strong Communication and Public Relations skills
  • Experience in developing Content Strategies for various platforms
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and understanding social media metrics
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Understanding of current trends, politics, general knowledge and sports is important
  • Understanding of English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Telugu and Kannada is an advantage


Job Role:

1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement platform-specific social media strategies aligned with brand objectives.

• Research trends, audience insights, and competitor strategies to identify growth opportunities.

• Create monthly or campaign-based content calendars and performance goals.

• Align communication tone and visual identity with overall brand direction.


2. Content Supervision

• Collaborate with writers, designers, and video editors to ensure cohesive storytelling.

• Curate engaging, on-brand content (posts, reels, carousels, videos).

• Approve final deliverables before publishing to maintain quality and consistency.

• Manage use of AI tools, templates, and automation systems for faster execution.


3. Operations & Coordination

• Oversee workflow between departments (design, copy, client servicing).

• Maintain timelines, checklists, and delivery schedules for multiple clients.

• Handle team delegation, daily task monitoring, and resource planning.

• Ensure client briefs are translated into actionable creative outputs.


4. Analytics & Reporting

• Track growth metrics (reach, engagement, impressions, conversion).

• Prepare performance reports with insights and recommendations.

• Adapt future campaigns based on data and performance results.


5. Client & Brand Communication

• Act as the point of contact for client updates, approvals, and strategy presentations.

• Maintain brand relationships through consistent communication and progress updates.
