Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with GolfBioMechs mission, vision, and marketing goals — including brand building, lead generation, engagement, and community growth
- Manage day-to-day posting and content scheduling on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X, TikTok (depending on target audience)
- Create content calendars, theme series, campaigns, and content pillars (e.g. “Myth Decoded,” “Biomechanics Insights,” “Client Stories,” “Drills in 1 Minute,” etc.)
- Monitor trends in golf, biomechanics, fitness, and social media (e.g. Reels, Shorts, AI tools) and adapt content accordingly
Content Creation & Copywriting
- Write clear, persuasive, and engaging content for social posts, captions, short-form video scripts, blog posts (or website articles), email newsletters, and ad copy
- Translate technical or scientific concepts (e.g. biomechanics, motor learning, movement principles) into accessible, relatable language
- Produce multimedia content—photos, videos, infographics, animations (in collaboration with designers / videographers)
- Use storytelling: share success stories, transformations, behind-the-scenes, “how we invented / tested,” myth-busters, etc.
Community Engagement & Growth
- Respond to comments, DMs, mentions, queries on social platforms in a timely, brand-aligned voice
- Engage with relevant communities (golf pages, biomechanics, movement science, sports science) to build awareness and network
- Collaborate with influencers, golfers, coaches, and partners for content crossovers or promotional posts
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Track key performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, website clicks, conversions)
- Provide monthly (or bi-weekly) reports with insights and recommendations
- Use data to refine content strategy, posting times, formats, and messaging
- Run small-scale A/B tests (e.g. caption styles, image vs. video) and optimize accordingly
Collaboration & Brand Consistency
- Work closely with the founder, biomechanics team, technical team, and any designers/video editors
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice (authentic, scientific yet friendly, confident, myth-challenging)
- Maintain consistency in visual identity, tone, messaging, hashtags, and brand standards
- Assist with campaign launches (e.g. new service, app onboarding, events) by creating supporting content
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (2–4+ years) as a Social Media Manager, Content Writer, or similar role
- Strong writing skills with ability to simplify technical / scientific content for a general audience
- Good understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Basic skills in content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Spark, video editing apps)
- Ability to ideate and execute creative content formats (Reels, carousels, short videos)
- Analytical mindset — comfort working with metrics, dashboards, insights
- Self-driven, proactive, comfortable working in a startup/fast-evolving environment
- Passion for golf, biomechanics, sports science, or movement science is a plus
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Background or interest in sports science, biomechanics, motor learning, golf instruction
- Experience with paid social media / ad campaigns
- Experience with influencer outreach / collaborations
- Familiarity with SEO and blog content optimization
- Basic video recording & editing skills (e.g. trimming, captions, transitions)
- Exposure to or interest in mobile apps / tech-based sports training
Performance Metrics & Goals
Possible KPIs in first 6–12 months:
- Increase in social media followers (X% growth)
- Engagement rate (likes, comments, shares) above benchmark
- Click-throughs from social media to website / landing pages
- Conversion rate from social media leads to trial / session signups
- Content cadence / consistency (e.g. minimum posts / week)
- Improved metrics per content type (videos, carousels)
- Positive community sentiment, mentions, shares of content
