Key Responsibilities: Short-Form Video ContentThe Social Media Executive will be primarily responsible for the ideation, creation, and execution of highly engaging short-form video content to drive brand awareness and audience growth on key platforms. Platform Mastery: Develop and manage a daily content calendar specifically for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Indian short-video platforms. Creative Production: Own the end-to-end process of short-form video content, including: Ideation: Staying up-to-date with the latest viral trends, trending audio, and popular format stylesunique to each platform in the Indian context. Filming/Editing: Creating high-quality, mobile-first, vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio) that utilize platform-native features, effects, and editing tools. Optimization: Crafting compelling captions with relevant hashtags and strategic use of on-screen text to maximize reach and view-through rate. Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the performance of all short-form video content, focusing on key metrics like view-through rate, engagement rate, shares, saves, and follower growth to continuously optimize content strategy. Cross-Promotion: Strategically repurpose and adapt top-performing content across platforms (e.g., re-editing a successful Reel for YouTube Shorts) while adhering to each platform's best practices. Key Skills & Qualifications for the India MarketTo excel in this role, candidates must have demonstrable experience and proficiency with the platforms that matter most in India's current landscape: Mandatory: Proven, hands-on experience in creating and publishing high-performing content on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Highly Desirable: Familiarity with the content ecosystem, trends, and user base of popular Indian short-video apps. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in mobile-first video editing (e.g., using CapCut, InShot, or other professional mobile/desktop tools). Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of current pop culture, music, regional language trends, and online challenges prevalent in the Indian youth and digital audience.
