Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies to align with marketing goals.
• Manage content calendars and ensure consistent posting across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
• Create, curate, and manage original and engaging content (text, image, and video).
• Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow our online community.\
• Track performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, etc., and provide monthly insights and reports.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members for campaign execution.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and tools.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
• 0 to 1 years of experience managing professional social media accounts

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of major social platforms and their best practices
• Hands-on experience with tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong visual aesthetic
• Ability to analyse metrics and use data to improve strategies

Nice to Have:

• Basic video editing skills (Reels, Shorts)
• Experience with paid social media ads
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles
