Internship Overview:

Social Media Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

• Be comfortable appearing on camera

  - you’ll help host Reels, trending videos, behind-the-scenes content, and fun social segments.
• Support on-ground video shoots at various locations such as colleges, events, and brand activations along with the team.
• Help create, schedule, and post content (reels, stories, posts, memes, etc.) on platforms like Instagram, and LinkedIn. Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and trends.
• Support the content and creative team with ideation, copywriting, and asset development.
• Track and report basic social media performance metrics.
• Research trends, hashtags, competitors, and platform updates to keep the content fresh and relevant.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for ongoing campaigns.

Who You Are:

• Someone who

  loves being in front of the camera

  - confident, expressive, and eager to create engaging short-form videos.
• A college student or recent graduate with a background in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
• An avid user of social media with a strong understanding of platform cultures and features.
• Comfortable creating content for youth-oriented and B2B audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Experience with Canva, basic video editing tools, or prior work on a brand/influencer page.

Preferred Candidate:

• Someone who is active on social media, follows trends, memes, creators, and understands Gen Z online behavior.
• A creative thinker with a pulse on pop culture, esports, tech, or entertainment.
• Bonus points if you’re already an influencer or a content creator!
