Social Media Intern – Job Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Planning
• Assist in creating engaging posts, reels, and stories for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
• Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns and brand promotions.
• Support in photo, video, and graphic content production.
• Social Media Management
• Schedule and post content across all social media channels.
• Maintain consistency in brand tone, style, and messaging.
• Monitor page activity and ensure timely responses to comments and messages.
• Research & Trend Analysis
• Track trending topics, hashtags, and social media challenges.
• Research competitors and suggest new growth strategies.
• Stay updated on social media algorithms and best practices.
• Engagement & Community Building
• Engage with the online community by replying to DMs and comments.
• Assist in influencer outreach and collaborations.
• Participate in online discussions relevant to the brand or sector.
• Analytics & Reporting
• Track post performance and prepare weekly engagement reports.
• Analyze follower growth, reach, and engagement metrics.
• Suggest improvements based on performance data.
• Support in Marketing Campaigns
• Assist the marketing team in running ad campaigns and promotions.
• Help design and execute social media contests or giveaways.
• Coordinate with designers, photographers, and content writers.
• Administrative & Creative Assistance
• Maintain content calendars and posting schedules.
• Prepare captions, hashtags, and basic post designs using tools like Canva or CapCut.
• Provide creative inputs in brainstorming sessions.

Skills Preferred

• Familiarity with platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, X
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or other design tools
• Good communication and writing skills
• Interest in branding, marketing, or public engagement
