We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team and help us grow our online presence.

Job Overview:

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. This role involves managing our company’s social media profiles, creating high-quality content, engaging with our community, and collaborating with various teams to promote our educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with the company’s goals and target audience.

- Create and manage a content calendar that includes posts, articles, videos, webinars, infographics, and tutorials.

2. Profile Setup and Optimization:

- Set up and optimize social media profiles with relevant information, attractive visuals, appropriate keywords, and links to courses and offers.

- Ensure all profiles are up-to-date and fully optimised for maximum visibility and engagement.

3. Daily Content Management:

- Post or schedule daily content across various social media platforms according to the content calendar.

- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly to foster community engagement.

- Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing user-generated content to build a sense of community and trust.

4. Community Engagement and Real-Time Monitoring:

- Monitor real-time trends and discussions in the EdTech and technical education spaces and engage as necessary to stay relevant.

- Proactively identify opportunities for engagement and brand advocacy within relevant online communities.

5. Weekly Collaboration and Coordination:

- Plan and create content for the upcoming week, including posts, articles, videos, graphics, and promotional materials.

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand current offers, promotions, and course highlights to ensure they are effectively promoted on social media.

- Request trainers and subject matter experts to create technical videos on relevant topics and provide them with guidelines and support.

- Review weekly performance metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic, and the effectiveness of promotional posts.

- Adjust and optimize content strategy based on the previous week’s performance data and feedback from the community.

- Conduct weekly meetings with the marketing and sales teams to align on goals ,review performance, and discuss upcoming campaigns.

- Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for engagement and content creation.

6. Monthly Analysis and Reporting:

- Conduct a detailed analysis of social media performance, including engagement, reach, traffic, conversions, and the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

- Prepare and present a monthly report summarizing key metrics, insights, and strategic recommendations for future activities.

- Review and update the content calendar for the next month based on performance insights, upcoming offers, and planned educational content.

- Plan and develop social media campaigns for the upcoming month, including promotional events, webinars, special content themes, and seasonal offers.

- Review the effectiveness of influencer partnerships and collaborations, and plan new engagements for the next month.

- Review the technical videos created by trainers, provide feedback, and schedule their release on social media platforms.

- Conduct monthly meetings with the sales team to review the performance of social media promotions, gather feedback, and plan future promotions and offers.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the EdTech or education sector.

- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and analytics tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

- Experience with social media management tools and analytics software.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with various departments.
