Job Summary:

SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct

    2-pillar and 4-pillar SMETA audits

    at factories and facilities.
  • Review documents, inspect sites, and interview workers & management.
  • Identify non-conformities and prepare detailed

    audit reports & CAPRs

    .
  • Ensure audits comply with SMETA guidelines and local labour laws.
  • Coordinate audit schedules, communicate with clients, and submit reports on time.
  • Maintain professional integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Engineering / Social Sciences / Environmental Studies or related field.
  • 3–5 years

    of experience in social compliance or ethical trade audits (SMETA, BSCI, SA8000 preferred).
  • Knowledge of Indian labour & HSE laws.
  • APSCA registration / SMETA auditor training

    preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Willing to travel extensively across India.
