Job Description

As a Credit Underwriter for Renewable Energy Financing, your responsibilities will include: - Handling credit underwriting for new business transactions in Renewable Energy financing - Making recommendations regarding credit decisions based on risk assessment and analysis - Effectively communicating with borrowers and internal stakeholders to address queries and provide credit decisions within agreed timelines - Monitoring the health of the portfolio, identifying potential risks, and opportunities to mitigate risk - Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices related to renewable energy financing - Continuously evaluating and improving the credit underwriting process for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness - Participating in customer meetings when necessary to fully understand risks and opportunities - Actively handling audits and liaising with management, sales, and other members of the Risk Management team to ensure continuous improvement of business processes In terms of knowledge and experience, we are looking for candidates who possess: - About 5-10 years of experience in risk or credit in a bank or a reputed NBFC with a focus on underwriting renewable energy financing - Mandatory experience in commercial finance - Ability to make credit decisions - Quick learning ability - Experience working with LOS / LMS in a Bank or NBFC - CA or MBA from an institution of repute We look forward to receiving your online application.
