Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities Technical & Mechanical Tasks

  • Rebuild engines ranging from B3.3 to QSK78 , including both mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Rebuild sub-assemblies such as liner-piston , oil cooler , aftercooler , and oil pan .
  • Inspect components for wear, damage, and usability before assembly.
  • Perform dry leak testing on engines and components.
  • Maintain 5S standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
  • Comply with all HSE standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in HSE training and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Identify and correct hazards within control and capability.

Quality & Delivery

  • Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.
  • Perform supervised work using diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections and provide feedback for preventive maintenance.
  • Follow all process documentation and quality procedures.
  • Track and record data related to component performance and rebuilds.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

  • Communicate effectively with peers and support teams.
  • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
  • Assist with preventive, emergency, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering OR
  • ITI/NCTVT certification with 5+ years of relevant experience in engine rebuilding or maintenance.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of engine systems , components, and their functions.
  • Proficient in handling and using various gauges and measurement tools .
  • Experience in component inspection , data tracking , and recording .
  • Familiarity with dry leak testing and sub-assembly rebuilds .

Experience

  • Entry-level to intermediate experience depending on educational background.
  • Candidates with ITI/NCTVT certification should have 5+ years of hands-on experience in engine rebuilding and maintenance.
