Site/Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Quantity Surveying:Calculating quantities of materials and work done based on drawings and site measurements.
• Bill Preparation:Preparing and certifying various types of bills, including Running Account (RA) bills, extra-item bills, and final bills.
• Cost Management:Tracking project expenses, verifying invoices, and ensuring all costs align with the project budget.
• Contractor & Subcontractor Billing:Managing billing processes for contractors and subcontractors, including processing payments and resolving any discrepancies.
• Rate Analysis:Determining the cost of individual items or activities, especially for extra or non-tender items.
• Reconciliation:Preparing monthly reconciliation statements for materials and ensuring proper accounting of all project expenditures.
• Documentation:Maintaining accurate records of all billing-related documentation and preparing reports.
• Communication:Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for billing and payment processes.
• Risk Management:Identifying potential risks related to billing and payment processes and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Compliance:Ensuring compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and contractual obligations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is typically required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and billing software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial for ensuring correct billing and payment processes.
• Experience: Relevant experience in construction billing and project management is often preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
