Site Supervisor – Job Description (Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh) Position: Site Supervisor Location: Kuppam & nearby mandals, Andhra Pradesh Department: Operations / Project Execution Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Head Project Type: Solar installation work for government social-impact scheme (SC/ST households) Role Summary The Site Supervisor will manage day-to-day installation activities across assigned project sites in Kuppam, AP, ensuring smooth execution, labour management, material handling, and adherence to quality & safety standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Site Execution & Labour Management Supervise daily work at multiple sites in Kuppam region. Manage installation labour teams and ensure proper task allocation. Ensure work completion as per drawings, SOPs, and timelines. Prevent material misuse and maintain site discipline. 2. Quality & Safety Compliance Conduct quality checks for structure installation, earthing, cabling, and module mounting. Enforce safety guidelines and ensure PPE usage. Report defects or risks immediately and ensure corrective action. 3. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with electricians, installers, vendors, and logistics teams. Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) with geo-tagged photos. Communicate site issues proactively with the Project Manager. 4. Material & Inventory Control Check all materials received on-site: structures, earthing kits, cables, panels, etc. Track inventory and ensure availability of required material in each village. Prevent theft, damage, or misplacement of material. 5. Customer Coordination Handle basic queries of households in Kuppam villages. Maintain polite behaviour with beneficiaries. Escalate any dissatisfaction or concerns to management. Requirements Education & Experience ITI / Diploma / B.Tech (Electrical or Civil preferred). Experience in solar installation supervision preferred, not mandatory. Prior field or labour-handling experience in rural areas is an advantage. Skills Ability to manage multiple sites in nearby villages. Basic electrical & structural understanding. Ability to read drawings and take measurements. Good communication skills in Telugu (mandatory). Comfortable using mobile apps for daily reporting. Other Requirements Willing to travel across villages around Kuppam, Gudupalle, Santhipuram etc. Physically fit and able to work in field conditions. Two-wheeler preferred (fuel reimbursement can be provided). Salary Range ₹18,000 – ₹26,000 per month (Depending on experience & local familiarity)
